Browsing this site

You do not need to log in, and no personal information is required, to browse published event records on this site. We do not run third-party analytics or advertising trackers here. Loading the page fonts does make a request to Google's font service (fonts.googleapis.com), which — like any external request — can see your device's IP address; no other data is shared with it.

Cookies and local storage

A session cookie is set only when you sign in through the departmental login, to keep you signed in as you move between pages; it is not used to track anonymous visitors. Your accessibility preferences (text size, contrast, and similar toolbar settings) and, on the Help page, your last-viewed role tab, are remembered using your browser's local storage — this data stays on your device and is never sent to us.

Departmental accounts

Operator, Admin, and SuperAdmin accounts are issued directly by the Government of Manipur, not self-registered. We hold the account holder's name, official email address, and department/role assignment, used solely to operate this portal — to authenticate sign-in, scope what each account can see and do, and to attribute who created, reviewed, or published a record.

Event content and media

Published event records — including any photos or videos a department attaches — are public by design, since the purpose of this site is transparency about government activity. Departments confirm they have obtained consent before uploading media that identifies individuals; if you believe a published photo or video should not be public, contact us using the details in the footer and we will review it.

Data retention and sharing

We do not sell or share personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Standard server request logs are kept for security and troubleshooting and are handled under the same government data-retention practice as other Manipur government IT systems.

Your rights and contact

For questions about this policy, or to request correction of personal data we hold about your departmental account, contact the Directorate of Information Technology, Government of Manipur, using the details in the footer of every page. This policy is consistent with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India).
